Our research work has centered on biomedical interventions for cisgender women; including AGYW; pregnant and breastfeeding women and their infants. We also recruit cisgender males and  heterosexual partners – both sero concordant and discordant.  We are the CTU’s   socio behavioural sciences centre of excellence; we actively engage with male partners, health care providers and policy makers in qualitative research; gathering their valuable insights on  sociocontextual  factors affecting women’s health.  The CRS is located at Zengeza Municipality Clinic, in Chitungwiza, the 2nd largest and rapidly growing city located about 25 km southeast of Harare. We recruit from Chitungwiza’s  urban and peri-urban locations which boast a heterogeneous population including individuals from different age groups, genders, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses  and with varying health needs and intrinsic/extrinsic health risk factors, providing diversity for timely recruitment.
